Meet Libby Marler, lPC, PMH-C
I’m so glad you’re here.
I’m a therapist who works with women in pregnancy, postpartum, and motherhood—especially when things feel heavier, more overwhelming, or just different than expected. If you’ve been feeling anxious, stretched thin, or not quite like yourself, you’re in the right place.
Whether you’re a new mom, a parent feeling stretched thin, or someone navigating deep loss, there’s space for you here.
I didn’t come into this work because I have everything figured out. I came into it because I’ve seen how easy it is for women, especially in motherhood, to carry a lot quietly.
To keep functioning.
To keep showing up.
To keep everything moving…
Even when it feels like a lot underneath the surface.
This season of life can be meaningful and fulfilling and also disorienting, exhausting, and emotionally complex.
That’s the space I care about supporting.
I’m also a mom of four, which gives me a real-life understanding of how full and demanding this season can be. I know what it’s like to carry a lot at once, and how easy it is to put your own needs last without even realizing it.
How I work
Therapy with me is steady, thoughtful, and practical.
It’s a place to slow things down and make sense of what’s been building.
We might:
Talk through patterns or thoughts that feel hard to quiet
Work on ways to feel more grounded day to day
Process experiences that still feel unresolved
Create more clarity around what you need and how to communicate that
I bring both structure and flexibility to our work, so it feels supportive, not overwhelming. My clinical focus is in perinatal mental health, including pregnancy, postpartum, and early motherhood.
I’ve completed advanced training through Postpartum Support International and hold the PMH-C (Certified Perinatal Mental Health Professional) credential.
I’m also trained in EMDR therapy, which I often use to help process trauma and support your nervous system in feeling more steady and regulated. In addition to perinatal work, I also support women navigating:
Ongoing motherhood challenges
Life transitions that feel emotionally heavy or unclear
Faith-based counseling is available if that’s something you’d like to include in your work.
Counseling with me is…
01 Warm & Compassionate
You don’t have to filter your feelings here. Therapy with me is a space where you can show up exactly as you are, tired, tearful, anxious, hopeful, or anything in between. I approach every session with empathy, curiosity, and deep respect for your experience.
02 Collaborative & Supportive
We’ll work together to understand your story and find strategies that truly fit your life. I believe you’re the expert on you, my role is to walk alongside you, offering guidance, insight, and tools that help you feel grounded and capable again.
03 Evidence-Based & Tailored to You
Each session is individualized to meet your unique needs, whether that’s managing postpartum anxiety, processing grief, or finding balance in motherhood.
04 Centered on Connection & Growth
Real change happens when you feel safe and supported. Together, we’ll build awareness, strengthen self-compassion, and create space for healing. My goal is to help you feel more like yourself, calm, confident, and connected to both your life and the people you love.
You don’t have to navigate this season alone. Let’s start the conversation.
My background
-
I have worked in many different counseling contexts including non-profit work, public mental health, and church ministry. This wide array of clinical experience allows me to provide individualized treatment for the clients I see. I have served as a volunteer group facilitator at The Warm Place, an agency that provides grief support for children and their families and also at Cook Children’s where I worked with children and their families, providing emotional support and play activities throughout their hospitalization.
I have also attended multiple specialized trainings and completed a national recognized testing program through Postpartum Support International (PSI) to achieve additional licensing as a Certified Perinatal Mental Health Professional (PMH-C). I am also trained in EMDR with a specialized focus on the perinatal period.
